Ephrata to host basketball league

EPHRATA - The City of Ephrata Recreation Department will offer a basketball program for boys and girls third grade through sixth grade.

The program will begin Nov. 10 and continue through Dec. 18th.

The purpose of this recreational program is to teach participants basic basketball skills and sportsmanship.

The Ephrata Recreation Department also hopes to help participants formulate a healthy attitude towards athletics.

The Ephrata Recreation Department will emphasize teamwork and participation for the basketball program.

The success of the basketball program depends primarily on parents participating and volunteering as coaches.

All basketball games and practices will be scheduled during the week and cost to participate in the program is $10.
