Mary Lucienne McConihe Voie Fuller

Mary L. Fuller was born July 6, 1928, in Seattle, Wash., to Moses Lake pioneer family Lucien Forrest McConihe Jr. and Alice Beatrice Walsh McConihe. She went home to be with her Savior on Sept. 17, 2008.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert F. Voie, second husband Charles D. Fuller and daughter-in-law, Judy L. Voie. She is survived by two sons Bruce E. Voie (Lori) of East Wenatchee, and Edward T. Voie (Kate) of Lakewood, and eight stepsons and daughters: Darel C. Fuller, Sharon Lynn Wilkinson, David Elmer Fuller, Nancy Jane Donehower, Susan Jo Klobucher, Dana Robert Fuller, Bertha Nielson, and Sylvia Ahrens. She is survived by six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her cousin, Anne (Charles) Barton of Lincoln, Neb., grand nephew, William McConihe, of Walnut Creek, Calif., her very special friends of many years, Maggie Berry of Tacoma, Jeannie Lemm of Port Orchard, and Maggie Kubo of Moses Lake.

Mary graduated from University of Puget Sound, and received her master’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University. She worked as a caseworker for McNeil Island Federal Bureau of Prisons. Mary was a master gardner and enjoyed cats. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for many years in Moses Lake.

We want to send special thanks of appreciation to Multicare Hospice of Tacoma and to her adult family home, Helping Hands, along with the wonderful staff, Liza, Ashley, and Maylynn. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Moses Lake Karneesta Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution or First Presbyterian Church of Moses Lake.

Mary will be laid to rest at Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle.

A memorial service to honor Mary will be held on Monday, Oct. 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1142 West Ivy Avenue, Moses Lake.
