Charline (Chuck) Ebel

| November 13, 2008 8:00 PM

Charline (Chuck) Ebel was ushered into the arms of her Lord on Nov. 7, one day before her 88th birthday.

Charline was born Nov. 8, 1920, to parents Charlie and Bertha Snow.

The family moved to Colorado a short time later and Charline spent her childhood and school years in Walden, Colo.

In 1938, she met and married R. L. Sander. In Cheyenne, Wyo., they were later divorced.

In 1953 she married Leo Ebel, who was the love of her life. They enjoyed fishing, camping and playing golf.

Charline was well known in Moses Lake. She came here in 1946. She worked in a number of businesses here. She was probably best known for the years at the beverage fountain at Chico’s, where she made a host of friends.

Due to poor health, she retired. After the loss of her husband Leo she went to live at Monroe House.

In June 2007, she decided to go to Georgia and live near her loving daughter Sharon and husband Jeff.

She was surrounded by love of her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sisters - Erma Sanders of Moses Lake, Theresea Thorne of Shelton and Lea Smith of Moreno Valley, Calif - and numerous nieces and nephews.
