Gas prices dropped below $2 Saturday at gas stations at the intersection of south Pioneer Way and Kittleson Road northeast in Moses Lake. The Chevron offered regular gas at $1.89 per gallon for preparying cash customers. The new prices are about $2.37 less than average retail gas prices for Washington state in July 2008, according to the federal Energy Information Administration. On Sunday, some Moses Lake stations offered gas 13 cents less than Costco and ARCO stations in Seattle, according to SeattleGasPrices.com.
