Port of Warden - 2009 Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget for the Port of Warden (Grant County Port District #8) has been prepared and placed on file by the Board of Commissioners of said Port District, which would include the implementation of the Port's Tax Levy. A copy of the said budget will be furnished to any District Tax Payer or Voter by calling the Port office and leaving name & address (509-349-2480) or email request to portofwarden@ccser.net.

The Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at 12:00 Noon local time at the Port's office located upstairs in Warden City Hall (201 South Ash) for the purpose of conducting a Public Hearing and adopting a final budget for the calendar year 2009. Port district citizens may appear at that time or send comments to PO Box 841 - Warden, WA 98857 or email to above address prior to the meeting

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER ONE (1) GROUND WATER CERTIFICATE

TAKE NOTICE:

That Tom Youngers of Moses Lake, Washington has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to change and add additional points of withdrawal (POW) as granted under Ground Water Certificate No. G3-00003C.

That said Certificate authorizes the withdrawal of 200 gallons per minute, 80 acre-feet per year from March 15 to November 1 each year, for the irrigation of 20 acres, and continuously for domestic supply.

That the authorized POW is from one-(1) well located within the NW1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 11, T. 18 N., R. 26 E.W.M.

That he proposes to change one-(1) POW and add one-(1) POW each to be located within the NE1/4NW1/4 or the NW1/4NE1/4 of Sec. 11, T. 18 N., R.26 E.W.M.

ALL WITHIN Grant County, Washington.

Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from November 4, 2008.
