COULEE CITY - The Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors took advantage of 30 first-quarter points on their way to a 46-0 victory over Sprague-Harrington Friday night.

The Warriors scored their first touchdown of the night when Mike Rehn scored on an 18-yard touchdown run. ACH converted the two-point conversion attempt to take a 8-0 lead early in the game.

With ACH leading 16-0 in the first quarter, running back Grayson Sizemore scored the first of his two touchdowns on a 47-yard run.

Sizemore's second touchdown run came when he took the hand off and ran 80 yards for another Warrior touchdown and a 38-0 halftime lead.

The Warriors would earn the 46-0 victory on the first play of the second quarter when Derek Isaak returned the opening kick off of the second half 80 yards for another ACH touchdown.

According to Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) rules, in 1B Eight-man football if either team is ahead by more 45 points or more at any point in the second half the game is over due to the WIAA's mercy rule.

The ACH Warriors host the Odessa Tigers Friday night.

Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Prosser 48

Ephrata 17

EPHRATA - The Ephrata Tigers football team stayed with Central Washington Athletic Conference foe Prosser early but in the end the Mustangs were too much for the Tigers in Friday nights 48-17 loss.

The Mustangs got on the board first when wide receiver Kirby Moore tied the national high school receiving touchdown record with his 83rd career touchdowns.

Ephrata responded when senior quarterback Eric Tinnell led the Tigers down the field and into Prosser territory.

Tinnell tied the game 7-7 when he scored on a 3-yard touchdown run.

On Prosser's next possession, Moore broke the national receiving record with his 84th career touchdown reception. The score gave Prosser a 14-7 lead.

The defending state champion Mustangs never looked back as they ran out to a 28-10 halftime lead and 48-17 victory. Moore finished the night with four touchdown catches, bringing his national record to 86.

The Ephrata Tigers wrap up their season Friday night when they travel to Quincy to take on the Jacks.

Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Colfax 41

Lind-Ritzville 14

RITZVILLE - The Lind-Ritzville Broncos football team couldn't overcome a 14-0 deficit early in the first quarter as the Colfax Bulldogs chewed their way to a 41-14 win Friday night.

With Colfax leading 14-0 in the first quarter, Lind-Ritzville's Colby Olson intercepted a pass and returned it 35-yards for a Broncos touchdown.

The score cut the Lind-Ritzville deficit to 14-7.

The momentum Olson's score brought was short-lived as Colfax returned the ensuing kick off 80 yards for a touchdown and a 20-7 first quarter lead.

The Bulldogs would take a 28-7 lead in the first half before Jake Eichner caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Geoffrey Eastman cut the lead to 28-14 heading into halftime.

The 14-point deficit would be as close as the Broncos would get as Colfax scored 13 unanswered points in the second half on their way to the victory.

Lind-Ritzville's playoff hopes came to a sudden stop with the loss to Colfax, ending the Broncos run of nine consecutive playoff appearances.

Friday night's Lind-Ritzville game against Selkirk has been canceled.

The Broncos finished the football season with a 4-4 record.
