NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids, plainly marked "BID FOR Beverly - Burke SW Road, CRP 07-15", will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, P.O. Box 37, 35 C Street NW - Room 207, Ephrata, WA 98823, until 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2008 and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvements.
All bids proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County.
Maps, plans and specifications may be purchased from the office of the County Engineer, 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA 98823, upon payment of the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable).

This contract provides for the reconstruction of 7.20 miles of two lane county road in Grant County, WA, and includes roadway excavation, embankment compaction, drainage items, crushed surfacing base course, maintenance rock, rotomilling bituminous pavement, hot mix asphalt, paint striping, plastic pavement marking, fleixible guide post, permanent signing, roadway surveying, monuments, seeding and fertilizing, and other work in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Norco Air Plant: Kissler Enterprises of Boise submitted an application for environmental review on March 7, 2008. Additional required information was submitted April 1, 21, 25, May 7 & 8, 2008. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on May 22, 2008 The proposal is to construct a air separation and liquefaction plant in the Heavy Industrial Zone at 2885 Road N. Lot 2 Hardy Major Plant. The project has been determine to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plane, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Enviroment Review, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process.
Written comments on this proposal will be accepted untill 5:00 p.m. on June 11, 2008. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the city appeal provision specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals.
