Royal City prepares for fun run

ROYAL CITY - SummerFest is just around the corner and sign ups are being taken for the "I ran for President in 2008" fun run.

Pre-registration is $15 for adults 14 years and older and includes a T-shirt. All registration fees and donations will benefit the Histiocytosis Association of America.

"Feel free to pay for your registration with your economic stimulus tax refund," run organizer Tyler Frank said.

Royal City's 3-on-3 soccer, 3-on-3 basketball and golf tournament registrations may also be found at the same Web site. Some of the contests have limited entries.
