Ruth Ann Manor

Ruth Ann Manor, age 101, a longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth was born in Burt, Iowa, the daughter of Earnest and Bertha Schwietert.

She had five siblings: Merle, Erwin, Lester, Ada and Williard. All preceded her in death.

She married the true love of her life Paul J. Manor May 21, 1927. Paul also preceded her in death. Early on in her life Ruth was a school teacher. She and her husband Paul also owned and operated the Moses Lake Cab Company for a number of years. She had been actively involved in the Methodist Church and The Moses Lake Woman's Club. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Ruth is survived by her children, Janet Latting and Paul E. Manor; grandchildren, Tammy Strong, Pat Latting, Paul V. Manor. Cally Grieb, Carrie Manor and Troy Lynn Goldberry; great-grandchildren, Heather Cranford, Brady Manor, Tate Manor, BreAnne Galloway, Janelle Galloway, Mathew Grieb, and JC Grieb.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Floyd Wilks officiating. Interment will follow in Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.
