Reba Maxine Tomlin

| May 21, 2008 9:00 PM

Reba Maxine Tomlin 79, longtime Colusa, Calif., resident, passed away early Monday morning on May 19, 2008.

Reba was born Dec. 12, 1928. Reba was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

God saw Reba was her happiest and someone would not let that be, So he put his arms around her And whispered "Come with me." With tear-filled eyes we watched Her suffer and fade away, Although we loved her deeply, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the Best.

Reba Maxine Tomlin will be missed dearly. Great thanks to those who were there for her through the good and the bad. Brenda Hampshire, Kathren Kessler, David Dixon, Laurence Dixon, Angela Kessler and Troy Swanson, Shelly and Larry Davison, Mike and Kristie Dixon, John, Jaime, Steven, and Misty Hampshire, Fred Mereworth and family, David Daily Jr. and David Daily. Reba was greatly inspired by her great-grandchildren, Merissa and Zack Swanson, Caiden and Dylan Hampshire, Austin and Kirsten Davison, Lucus and Eli Hampshire, and Ariana Daily. Visitation will be held for Reba Thursday the 22 from 8 a.m. to noon at Kayser's chapel followed by services beginning at 2 p.m. the same day at Sunset Memorial Garden in Warden.
