Student accepts scholarship to play golf, study business in the fall

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake High School senior Zac McDougall has signed a letter of intent and accepted a scholarship to play golf at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.

Zac, the son of Brian McDougall and Kim Pope, has been a member of the Moses Lake High School golf team for four years. Zac received the All-Conference Award in both his junior and senior year.

As captain of this year's golf team, Zac took first place at Sun Willows by shooting four under a par 68 - he also shot a hole in one this year at the Tri City Country Club.

He said he feels "pretty good" about having his education secured. He will study business when he starts school in the fall.

With aspirations of playing on the PGA Tour, Zac will be honing his skills this summer on the state amateur tour.
