Glys T. Holes
Glys T. Holes, 85, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Floyd Wilks officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Glys was born July 12, 1922, in Coos Bay, Ore., to Hurley & Rose Collver.
Glys was a devoted wife and loving mother but most importantly a daughter of the King of Kings. Her love of the Lord was evident in her daily time in God's word with her children every morning and prayer time with her husband.
Glys also took time in the evening for reading classical literature to her family. Glys will be remembered by her children and grandchildren as someone who loved them dearly. She nurtured their creativity through arts and crafts, encouraged them to read from a variety of literary styles, and helped them appreciate nature, especially beautiful flowers. She loved history, playing games like Scrabble, and always enjoyed a good joke or funny story. Her family celebrates that she is now with her Lord and Savior.
Glys was preceded in death by her son Jason Ariel Holes and daughter Nadine Rose Holes.Survivors include her husband, Frank Holes of Moses Lake; Paul and Linda Holes and their children Mike and Kim and their families; Andy and Dottie Holes; Annette and Scott Cervine and their children Cadin and Danika; Nathan and Kristin Holes and their son Silas FW; Ned and Sherry Holes; Sandy Overshaw and her family; Nancy and Jay Schlaitzer; Crystal and Brian Reunanen and their children Kelsey and Paxton; Sundae and Frank Delgado and their children Brandon, Noah, Ethan and Addyson Rose; Troy Schlaitzer; Lisa and Dwayne Spires and their children Aidenne and Caleb; Peggy and Mike Norman; Lisa and Buck McLamb; and Bobby Norman.
