NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Warden School District 146-161 Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2007-08 General Fund Budget Extension. The hearing will be held at the regular meeting of the Warden School District Board of Directors scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the district administration office. The hearing is open to the public and any person may appear at the meeting to be heard for or against the budget extension or any part thereof. The completed budget extension is on file at the district administration office and a copy will be furnished to any person requestion one.

SEWER LINING PROJECT - 2008

Moses Lake, Washington

Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, 321 South Balsam, (P.O. Box 1579), Moses Lake, Washington 98837 until June 5th, 2008, 10:00 a.m., for the above-named improvement. Said bids will be opened and publicly read at that time. All bids shall be received before said opening time in sealed envelopes with "SEWER LINING PROJECT-2008" marked plainly thereon.

All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and/or to furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit shall be forfeited to the City.

Copies of plans and specifications are on file at various construction councils and at City Hall and may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $30 at the above address. Only bids from those who have purchased plans and specifications will be accepted per the special provisions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of lining approximately 37,000 linear feet of 8-inch concrete sewer pipe with a cured-in-place or spiral wound liner and reinstating the side services.

Estimated Project Cost: $900,000.00

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Apply an estimated 34,390 SY of Type II slurry surfacing to the Moses Lake Municipal Airport runway and taxiways as shown on the project plans and as directed by the Engineer. The project includes re-striping the entire area to match the existing striping layout as shown on the project plans. The project also includes other work such as coordination of airport closure to meet the City requirements, notification to affected businesses, mobilization, covering all metal castings, any other preparatory work, rolling, sweeping, and cleanup.

Estimated Project Cost: $88,000.00

The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City.

NOTICE OF MITIGATED

DETERMINATION OF

NON-SIGNIFICANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Moses Lake issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:

Parkview Planned Unit Development Major Plat - Create a mixed-use 2.38 acre residential and commerical community, including remodeling an existing building for professional office space on the ground floor and up to 4 apartments on the 2nd floor, and construction 21 townhouses, each on its own lot of record. The project includes 8,963 square feet of private park area, 9,865 square feet of other landscaping, and 17,493 square feet of wetland buffer area. The site is located at 922 S. Division, 2.38 acres and is located in the R-3, Multi-Family Zone. A category III lake fringe wetland has been delineated.

After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the City of Moses Lake, the SEPA Responsible Official has determined this proposal will not have a probable adverse impact on the environment if the stipulated mitigation is provided. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-340(2) the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of determination. Comments on the MDNS must be submitted by May 28, 2008 to the Responsible Official.
