Goldendale boy, Royal girl win at SCAC golf tourney

CLE ELUM - Golf teams from Goldendale, Warden, Royal City, Zillah, Cle Elum and Highland met in Cle Elum to take part in the 2008 SCAC District 5 1A golf tournament Wednesday.

The challenging Par 72 Prospector saw Goldendale duffer Zach Wanderscheid shoot a 79 as the boys' medalist. For the girls, Laura Perkins of Royal shot a 93 and grabbed the medal, according to Warden golf coach Steve Tolley.

DJ Solis of Royal shot an 81, Royal's Trevor Ivreson shot an 89, Warden's Nate Stott shot a 91, Ben Bisnett of Warden scored 92, Chris Kalous from Warden had 93 and Royal's Kyle Spartveit finished with a 95.

In 1A girls action, Royal's Laura Perkins shot 93, Kim McPartland of Warden scored 97, Royal's Allysa Presgraves had a score of 103, Shelby Forester of Royal shot a 106, Lacy Goroski scored 114 and Lizeth Rogriguez of Warden shot at 116.
