Husky golf dominates at Horn Rapids

RICHLAND - Lady golfers from Othello, Ephrata, Selah, Ellensburg, Wapato and East Valley took to the links in the Central Washington Athletic Conference District 5/6 golf championships on Monday.

The par 72 championship Horn Rapids course saw Ashley Amoruso of Othello shoot an 89 to win as medalist in a shoot-out with Emily Harris of Selah, according to Othello School District Athletic Director Pete Patitucci.

Othello finished first in team play, shooting a combined low score of 392. Duffers from Ephrata swung the clubs for score of 418, securing them fourth place in the match.

Othello's Ashley Amouruso shot 89, Breanne Duff of Ephrata placed third shooting 90, sixth place went to Katie Gardner of Othello with a 96, Carolina Borba of Othello placed ninth with a 102, 10th place went to Sable Endicott from Ephrata who scored 105, Erica Rattra of Othello swung for a 105 to take 11th place and Marias Juarez of Othello shot 109 as alternate.
