Aquatic Center to hold duathlon

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake Parks and Recreation is taking sign ups for Spring Festival's Duathlon to be held on Saturday, May 24 at the Aquatic Center. The event will start at 8 a.m. and must be completed by 10:30 a.m.

The duathlon is a 5k run, followed by a 12-mile bike ride finishing with a 5k run. There will be two different fun runs - a 5k and a 10k.

Entry fees are $55 for individuals $70 for relay teams. The price of the fun runs, $17, includes a T-shirt. Registration must be completed before the day of the race.

The duathlon, though not a USAT sanctioned event, will adhere to standard USAT age group categories and rules.
