EPHRATA - The Ephrata boys baseball team hosted the Quincy Jacks in district play on Tuesday. Ephrata coach Jason Laugen said the Tigers won in seven innings with a score 11-0.

Starting pitcher Brett Robinson "pitched real well" according to Laugen. He went five and two-thirds innings and gave up one hit to Quincy's Kelly Wells. Mason Lotz came in to relieve Robinson and finished the game after giving up one hit, also to Wells, Laugen said.

Leading hitters for the Tigers were Brett Bazaldua, who went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, and Eric Tinnell, also 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Ephrata, now 16-4-1 for the season, will travel to play East Valley on Friday at 4 p.m.
