Panthers tennis too much for Chiefs

MOSES LAKE - The Wenatchee Panthers paid a visit to Moses Lake to take on the Chief boys in tennis match play on Tuesday.
The Chiefs played hard but were only able to prevail in one match, making the final score Moses Lake 1, Wenatchee 6.
Singles action had Ben Nye of Moses Lake defeated by Jared Vidano 3-6, 1-6. Chiefs' Adrian Juarez fell to Adam Henke 3-6, 1-6. Wenatchee's Jonathan Mandelis defeated Connor Lange
2-6, 6-1, 6-1. Moses Lake's Andy Su defeated Troy Patterson 6-2, ret.
In doubles match play, David Asfour and Danny Reis of Moses Lake fell to Michael Bird and Mitch DeCamp 3-6, 1-6. Dominic Cacchiotti and Derek Mc Mains of the Chiefs were defeated by Jack Rechtin and Nate Woodward 3-6, 2-6. Wenatchee's Weston Knudtson and Garrison Smith bested Paul Asfour and Kyle Livingston 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
The Chief boy tennis team next play in the Inland Empire Tournament today and Saturday in Spokane.
