Lady Tigers beat Jacks

QUINCY - The Othello Lady Tigers visited the Quincy Lady Jacks for tennis match play on Tuesday. The Tigers defeated the Jacks by a score of 4-1 in the five matches played.

In singles, Othello's Scherry Luedhardt defeated Katie Homer 6-3, 7-5. Natalie Morgan of Othello beat Heidi Thaemert 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.

Doubles play saw Jessy Schmidt and Kayla Spohr of Othello defeat Courtney Felder and Kaloni Young 7-5, 6-3. The Tigers Judee Roylance and Jody Walker defeated Kirsten Biedink and Bonnie Knodell due to injury default.

Othello's Emily Morgan and Ashleigh Snyder fell to the Jack's Becca Boen and Colleen Knodell 3-6, 2-6.
