ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Directors of Moses Lake School District No. 161 in the Board Room at 1318 W. Ivy Ave., Moses Lake, Washington for construction of the MOSES LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL as follows:

Contractors shall submit their sealed proposals up until 4:00 p.m., April 22, 2008.

Proposals received after time set for opening will not be considered. Bids will be opened and publicly read immediately after the time and date set for opening.

Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the following offices: Moses Lake School District, Moses Lake; N_C|Architecture, Spokane; Wenatchee Plan and Copy Center, Wenatchee; Tri-Cities Construction Council, Kennewick; Spokane Regional Plan Center, Spokane; Associated Builders and Contractors, Spokane; Associated General Contractors, Spokane; Associated General Contractors, Hayden Lake, Idaho, McGraw-Hill Construction, Seattle.

Copies of drawings and specifications may be obtained only at the office of N_C|Architecture, by and for bona fide Washington licensed bidders upon deposit of $200.00 per complete set. Deposit will not be returned if documents are mutilated or so marked that they are not reusable and/or if they are not returned to the Architect within 10 days after bids are received. Other sets or individual sheets may be purchased at a cost (not refundable) from the printer with the approval of the Architect.

No bidder may withdraw its bid after hour set for opening thereof, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 90 days.

The Board of Directors of Moses Lake School District No. 161 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

Ordinance No. 1269 passed by the City Council and approved by Mayor Shannon McKay on the 11th day of March 2008.

The full text of this ordinance will be mailed, free of charge, to any

person requesting a copy.

SUMMARY

This ordinance creates the requirements and standards of each and every residential development relevant to the dedication of open space for public purposes, or the payment of a fee in lieu of the open space dedication. It sets the fees and open space qualifications based upon the development purpose.

AMENDED NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER ONE (1) GROUND WATER PERMIT

TAKE NOTICE:

That the Port of Mattawa, Washington has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to add two-(2) Points of Withdraw (POW) as granted under Ground Water Permit No.

G3-29072P.

That said permit authorizes the withdrawal of 2,250 gallons per minute, 1,200 acre-feet per year, continuously, for commercial and industrial supply and as needed for fire protection.

That the authorized POW are from two-(2) wells located as follows: 1) SW1/4SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 34 and 2) SW1/4NE1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 27; BOTH WITHIN T. 15 N., R. 23 E.W.M.

That they propose to add two-(2) additional POW to be located as follows: 3) and 4) BOTH WITHIN W1/2W1/2SW1/4 of Sec. 27, T. 15 N, R. 23 E.W.M.

All within Grant County, Washington.

Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty-days (30) from
