Virgil Lewis Davis

| March 24, 2008 9:00 PM

Virgil Lewis Davis, longtime resident of Moses Lake, at the age of 85, graduated to a mansion in heaven on March 9, 2008.

He was born in Pine City on May 9,1915. Preceded in death by his mother (Olive Davis) and father (Edward Davis), brothers Melvin and Eugene Davis and sister Emma Buswell. He is survived by his sister, Lola Parker; 10 nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and nephews. He retired from Boeing and moved to Moses Lake in 1973. He spent his whole life after his father passed away caring for his mother Olive Davis who was 103 at her passing. He never married or had children, so his nieces and nephews became his children. He had the biggest heart of gold and would help anyone he could for anything they needed, even if it was his last dollar. He was the most giving person you could ever meet. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on March 28 at the First Baptist Church located at 724 West 4th Ave. in Moses Lake. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Sign the guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com.
