Warden junior wrestling finishes up season this weekend

EAST WENATCHEE - The Warden Little Guys Wrestling team had several solid performances at last Saturday's meet.

Warden had a pair of champions in the 5-6 age group, Julian Egia and Edgar Hernandez. Antonio Martinez and Ryan Arredondo each placed third in the same group.

In the 7-8 division, Anthony Martinez and Simon Villarreal also walked away as champions. Bryce Martinez was a second-place finisher, and Rodrigo Ozuna placed fourth.

In the 9-10 division, Warden earned five championships from Erik Vela, Josiah Guerra, Isaac Campos, Miguel Hernandez and Tyson Yamane. Dominic Guerra placed second. Johnny Martinez, Raul Martinez, Ernesto Mendez and Peter Manville all took third. Isaiah Gonzalez, Nico Hernandez and Trey Kilmer all placed fourth.

Warden is traveling to Gonzaga University in Spokane this weekend for the Jason Crawford Memorial Tournament.
