Basin's best at Wenatchee all-star basketball

WENATCHEE - Players from Ephrata, Moses Lake, Quincy and Soap Lake will be involved with this Saturday's 11th annual North Central Washington All-Star Basketball Game, sponsored by the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.

The boys and girls doubleheader begins at 7 p.m. at Wenatchee High School. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for children 6 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at Wenatchee's Flooring America store or the Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center.

Quincy's Tashia Zamarron and Soap Lake's Ariel Wernex are two of the outgoing seniors participating in the girls game.

Other players include Eastmont's Devon King and Kate Sparling, Wenatchee's Victoria Monreal and Kami Knouf, Chelan's Izzy Barth, Kim Harter and Alicia Love, Liberty Bell's Kelli Campbell and Korrie Bourn, Okanogan's Kelly Downey and Nadine Downey, Brewster's Martha Taylor and Taylor LaMoreaux, Kristen Wyatt of Ellensburg, Clara Hull of Pateros, Shawnee Ledbetter of Entiat, and Rachel Bisque of Bridgeport.

On the boys' side, Ephrata seniors Ryan Lutz and Daniel Simon, as well as Moses Lake senior Jarred Walker, will be suiting up.

Also participating are Lake Roosevelt's Matt Pleasants, Coby Dick and Garret Carlson, Chelan's Cameron Reister and Brett Linehan, Wenatchee's Seth Tagge, Carter Shea and Kam Douglass, Brewster's Cole Youngers and Austin Benson, Liberty Bell's Connor Walsh and Tre Ahrens, Zachary Kinman of Oroville, Terence Dietrich of Pateros, Jacob Anderson of Entiat, Blaine Dawson of Cascade-Leavenworth, Grant Leavell of Tonasket, Travis Yesiki of Eastmont, and Jeremiah Riggle of Omak.
