Now meeting at Royal City High School
ROYAL CITY - A meeting focused on poverty slated for tonight was relocated from Red Rock Elementary to the Royal City High School library.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. as previously planned, Horizons Coordinator Sharon Chesterman stated.
Dr. Donna Beegle is the guest speaker who will provide information to motivate others who live in poverty, she noted.
Chesterman stated Beegle lived in poverty for several years and plans to provide information for employers and citizens to help people leave poverty. The presentation called "Voices of the Heart: Is Anyone Listening?" will provide an understanding of why people live in poverty.
