A moment in history

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) gathered in Oasis Park in Ephrata Saturday to hold a mock war amongst friends.

The organization recreates the medieval ages and the Renaissance in exploration of history, according to a spokesperson. Members make armor and use simulated weapons to practice western European martial arts. For more information, call 509-754-7155.
