NOTICE

Moses Lake School District (MLSD) seeks construction management services for oversight and administration of a new 47,000 SF elementary school and other capital projects at the discretion of MLSD. Services are primarily construction administration and oversight of construction activities, acting as an agent of and advocate for MLSD.

Schedule: New elementary school construction is expected to commence in late April, 2008 and be complete by August, 2009. Other projects have yet-to-be-determined schedules, but may overlap construction of the elementary school.

MLSD seeks qualification statements from construction management firms or individuals with significant experience in commercial construction. To be considered for selection, prospective consultants or individuals are to provide three (3) copies of submittals containing: (a) Letter of Interest, (b) Relevant Experience, (c) Qualifications of Key Personnel (or individual), (d) Performance on Previous Projects (or past individual experience), (e) and Firm's Ability to Perform Requested Services (personnel and availability of firm or individual). Limit written responses to twenty (20) pages total. After review of submittals, MLSD will interview firms or individual candidates as it sees fit. Responses are due March 14, 2008, 4:00 p.m.

INVITATION TO BID

PORT OF MOSES LAKE

(GRANT COUNTY PORT DISTRICT NO. 10)

PROPOSALS will be received at the Administration Office, Port of Moses Lake, Grant County International Airport, Moses Lake, Washington, until 2:00 p.m. local time, March 24, 2008, for the project of removing rubber deposits from Runways 09/27 and 14L/32R at the Grant County International Airport.

Public opening of the proposals will be in the Board of Commissioners conference room, located on the main floor of the Terminal Building. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be accepted. No bidder may withdraw or alter his proposal after the hour set for opening unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period of more than thirty (30) days after the date of opening. The work shall be satisfactorily completed no sooner than April 1, 2008 and no later than April 15, 2008, for the first rubber removal project on Runway 09/27 and Runway 14L/32R; and no sooner than October 1, 2008 and no later than October 10, 2008 for the second rubber removal project on both Runway 09/27 and Runway 14L/32R.

Bonafide bidders may obtain copies of specifications of work required at the office of the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street N.E. Ste. 200, Grant County International Airport, Moses Lake, Washington.

The Board of Commissioners of the Port of Moses Lake shall be the sole judge of the bids and reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, waive technicalities or irregularities, and to accept any proposal or option of such bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the Port of Moses Lake.

This notice is directed to Doug Palmer, address unknown (putative father's name and address) that Jennifer Hodgins (name of birth mother) wishes to consent to the adoption of her child named Baby Boy Hodgins who was born on January 22, 2008 or to execute a surrender and release of her rights to the child which will allow the child to be adopted. She has named you as the father of said child. You have not consented to the adoption according to the records of this Court. The adoption, consent or the surrender and release has been filed and is pending in the Probate Court in Hancock County.

  • Grant Mental Healthcare in the amount of $64,600.00 for Lobby Construction, Tools and Equipment, Panic System, Fencing, and Community Frameworks Project missed in the 2008 budgeting cycle
  • Sheriff's Office in the amount of $30,000.00 to purchase a new vehicle for the inmate litter crew using a grant from the Department of Ecology
  • Sheriff's Office in the amount of $67,935.00 to purchase a new jet board using a grant from the WA State Parks Department. The County is required to meet this purchase at 25%.
