Babe Ruth All Stars prepare for districts

MOSES LAKE - The Babe Ruth Baseball League of Moses Lake 13U All Stars travel to Ellensburg on Thursday to compete in the district playoffs. On the strength of past season play the league has announced the All Stars will receive an automatic berth to attend the State Babe Ruth Baseball League finals, to be held in Ephrata on July 8.

The 13U team is traveling to Ellensburg under the helmsmanship of coach Beto Moreno and will play against three other teams looking for a district title.

"This 13U team has a lot of talent and we are excited about their future in Moses Lake baseball," League President Phil Signorelli said. "This has been a very successful year for the Babe Ruth League."

The two teams that will represent Moses Lake are comprised of the "All-Stars" from the Moses Lake 13U and 14U age divisions.
