Othello woman survives stabbing
Boyfriend arrested
OTHELLO - A 45-year-old woman survived stab wounds to her chest and Adams County deputies arrested her boyfriend in connection with the assault.
Staff at Othello Community Hospital called law enforcement when treating the woman for wounds Saturday night, advising they "were serious but that the victim would survive," Adams County Undersheriff John Hunt stated Monday.
"The victim was able to talk with deputies and provide them with the suspect's information, who was a boyfriend, and that the incident took place at a Wagon Road address," Hunt stated.
Officers located and arrested the victim's boyfriend, Miguel Hernandez-Hernandez, 23, Othello, at a residence on April Road without incident. He was booked into the Adams County jail for first-degree assault.
