Robert 'Bob' Quigley

Robert "Bob" Quigley, with his family at his side, went home to his Heavenly Father on June 18, 2008.

Bob was born Dec. 26, 1919, at his parents' home in Everett, Wash. He was 88 years young.

Bob attended school in the Everett area and graduated from Everett High School in June of 1937. Bob married his eternal companion Dee Thomock on Dec. 13, 1951. They would later be sealed in the Logan Temple, Logan, Utah, on Oct. 8, 1973. Robert held many different positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Bob's one prized possession was his family, his children and especially the grandchildren, Dennis, Donna, DeeAnna, Doug, Rachel, Rebecca and Kelly.

Preceding Robert in death are his loving wife of 48 years, Dee T. Quigley, his parents, Robert A. and Lila M. Quigley, his brother William A. Quigley, his sister, Patricia L. Allen, two sons-in-law Dwight E. Goff and Kemmer C. Clark.

Bob retired from U&I Sugar in the 1970s. After his retirement, Bob drove a bus for the Head Start Program. All of the children loved "Mr. Bob." Everyone liked his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to work in his yard and go camping with his brothers and his sisters-in-law at Salmon La Sac where they would pick berries and mushrooms.

Robert is survived by his daughters Sandra L. (Ted) Wright of Moses Lake and Lila M. (Curtis) Owens of Seneca, Miss., and his son, Robert G. (Butch) Quigley of Moses Lake. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two adopted grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A special thank you from the family of Bob Quigley for the kind and loving care that he received at the LakeRidge Care Center where his singing will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Robert will be held June 24, 2008, at the Grape Drive Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Moses Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Services, Moses Lake.
