ERP hosts motocross under the lights
EPHRATA - For the first time in Ephrata Raceway Park's history, motocross riders attacked the woops and berms under the bright lights. Race fans witnessed rooster tails and big air from the more experienced riders Saturday. However, the beginners, some as young as 4 years old, also drew applause from the crowd. Riders on motorcycles and quads from throughout the Columbia Basin took part in dirt spewing action.
The management of Ephrata Raceway Park is planning future motocross events on the arena-cross style course. Anyone with a dirt bike, dual-purpose bike, pit bike or quad can participate. For more information contact Rita Witte at rmwitte@gmail.com or visit www.ephrataracewaypark.com.
