Solstice event takes place Saturday morning

Event for Soap Lake sundial
SOAP LAKE - The Solstice Inaugural celebration for the Soap Lake sundial takes place Saturday morning.
It was previously incorrectly reported that the event takes place today.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at East Beach Park where the sundial will eventually be placed. A marker will be placed at the site marking noon-time for when the sculpture is placed.
A guest speaker will discuss the importance of holding the event Saturday.
