Zombies led me to vampires

Lily Bat says my brain would taste good with ketchup.

I think it would go better with steak sauce.

In my last column I wrote about my love of zombie-related movies but also of my fear of them eating me. I took a survey once about whether or not I would survive a zombie attack. According to the survey I would be eaten but I disagree. I can run pretty fast and I don't tend to fall down and look behind myself a lot while gasping. Watch a horror flick and you will know what I am talking about.

Lily Bat appears to be the webmaster for a Web site called LilyBat's Bogey News. She found my article online and blogged about it. In addition to my brains making a nice feast … a feast of knowledge in my opinion, she says I'm a zombie-racist.

I should drop-kick him. He failed to mention he has a zombie-killing weapon he will tell you about if you ask him.

I'm not a zombie-racist. I would befriend a zombie. In my article it clearly states I enjoy zombies but I plan to keep my flesh bite-free. If you are a zombie and you are hungry, wear a muzzle when you hang out with me and we will get along great.

Lily Bat's blog spot reminded me of my love for vampires. Her site is very entertaining. I will read it regularly and you should too if you like strange news accompanied with commentary written by a vampire.

I am curious about one thing … who are you Lily Bat? Reveal yourself. I wanted to read a biography about her but I didn't see anything on her site. She does say she is a vampire but that's really all I know.

I like vampires.

Vampire movies are usually good. There's "Interview with the Vampire," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and the best ever, "The Lost Boys."

I am so excited because "Lost Boys: The Tribe," is going to be released. And yes it's starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. The "Coreys!" It's a follow-up to the original movie starring some of the same actors who are now adults who go vampire hunting.

For Lily Bat's sake and mine, I'd like to see a movie where the vampire is the hero. A really attractive vampire who rescues me from a zombie. I like that plot.

Candice Boutilier is the cities reporter for the Columbia Basin Herald. Despite her protests, she still has an overall dislike for undead, flesh-eating people, as displayed during "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," when she thought there were zombies in the cemetery.
