Hailee Nicole Martinez

Hailee Nicole was born Feb. 4, 2004, to Eduardo and Jennifer Martinez in Moses Lake. She lived in Moses Lake the first part of her life, then moved all over Washington. First Pasco, then Spokane, with a brief stay in Seattle for medical treatment, then finally in Spokane.

Hailee enjoyed many things. She loved to spend time with her family, play with her friends, ride her power wheel, dress up and fish. She was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2006. She battled it through Feb. 29 of 2008 when she was diagnosed incurable. She passed away on June 3 of 2008. Hailee was a strong, brave girl who taught us all about love and life. She will be forever loved and missed.

Hailee was preceded in death by her great grandmothers Cecilia Pruneda and Martha (Nani) Sullivan, great uncles Paul Batrum and Bill Sircin, and cousins Amaiyah Pichardo-Solis and Xavier Pruneda.

She is survived by her parents, great-grandfathers Marcello Pruneda of Warden and Joe Sullivan of Moses Lake, grandparents Rey and Shirley Pichardo of Moses Lake and Gilbert and Elvia Martinez of Warden, aunts, uncles and cousins of Moses Lake and Warden.
