Tom was born Sept. 2, 1950, in Saint Ignatius, Mont., to the late William Thomas and Alda (Field) Boyce. At the age of 2 he moved with his family to Moses Lake where he spent the majority of his life. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1969. He married Trina Taylor June 9, 1983, in Seattle. Tom served a mission in the Minnesota/Manitoba Mission and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of his life. Tom loved to be outdoors and could often be found at a fishing hole or on a camping trip. He usually got to these places by taking the most scenic route possible! He worked many types of agricultural jobs but was happiest when he was on a tractor. Tom loved being with his family and friends, telling a good joke and finding a baby to hold.

He is survived by his wife Trina of Moses Lake; children Matthew (Amanda) Boyce, Meredith (Jeff) Turner, Sarah Boyce and Jordan Boyce, all of Moses Lake; sisters Loveta Boyce, Rose (Duain) Fackrell and Ruth (Spencer) Grigg, all of Moses Lake; twin brothers Oscar (Laurie) Boyce of Kennewick, Wash., and Orson (Maren) Boyce of Perry, Utah; and many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Tom.
