Chiefs win annual sports award

MOSES LAKE - The Columbia Basin League has announced Moses Lake student athletes Ben Nye and Reilly Hourigan have received a spring National Electrical Contractors Association and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers award in recognition of their play on the tennis courts.

The fourth annual award recognizes top student athletes from each of the 14 Columbia Basin League schools. It encourages all high school students to explore with their high school counselors a career in the Electrical Construction Industry, which provides salary levels that are above average and careers that last a lifetime.
