Fred William Froese
Fred William Froese, 93, lived in Moses Lake since 1960 and went to be with his Savior on July 17, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2008, at Lake City Foursquare Church with Dan Liening officiating. Interment will follow in Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel of Memories, Moses Lake. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, July 24 from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.. Fred was born April 10, 1915, in American Falls, Idaho to Gustav and Frieda Froese. Fred moved with his family to Walla Walla in 1919, where he graduated from High School. He went on to Washington State College in Pullman graduating in 1938 with a B.S. in agriculture. He served for 42 months in the Navy during WW II. He met Emma Roossinck at a Bible conference in Los Angeles, Calif., and they were married in June of 1948. Fred accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a young man, and his Christian affiliation was with those gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Fred worked in the dairy business with various jobs in milk inspection and quality control, finally retiring from Darigold in 1982. Fred is survived by a son, Edward of Tacoma; three daughters, Louise Kilcup of Phoenix, Ariz., Marie Kilcup of Gig Harbor, Wash., and JoAnn Wenz of Moses Lake; two brothers, Ted and Oscar and one sister, Marti Baden; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emma, his daughter Joyce Lunden, his grandson Bradley Kilcup, seven brothers and one sister.
