Cars passing on Stratford Street were being sprayed with water (above) as wires and branches fell on McConnell Street (right) during high winds.
Winds were gusting at speeds of more than 44 mph, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Wind caused low visibility and a tree to damage power lines on McConnell Street in the Larson Base area near Moses Lake.
Homes and a stoplight on Patton Boulevard were left without power.
Officials were not available Thursday.
