Yolanda Mary Hernandez-Guarni

Yoland Mary Hernandez-Guarni went to be with the Lord in her sleep on June 23, 2008, at her home in Woodbury, N.J. Yolanda was born June 8, 1970, in Othello. Adopted by Jovencio and Rosa Hernandez in February 1976, she was a longtime resident of Moses Lake.

She graduated from Moses Lake High School and from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Antonia Molina and her adoptive father Juvencio P. Hernandez.

She is survived by her husband John Guarni of Woodbury, N.J. Her adoptive mother Rosa Hernandez, four brothers, Cornelio, Camilo, Juvencio II and Ricardo and their families, five sisters, Maria Dominga, Alicia, Tomasa, Mary, Ruth, Rosa, and Katrina and their families.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, July 10 at 9 a.m. at El Sendero Spanish Assembly 2227 Peninsula Dr., Moses Lake, WA, with Rev. Mike Alvarado officiating.
