Free summer lunches offered in WardenFederal program is for children

WARDEN - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Seamless Summer Feeding Program begins serving Warden children free meals today.
The program runs from Monday to Friday, through Aug. 1, according to Food Service Supervisor Jill Robertson.
Children ages 1 to 18 can receive a free snack and lunch at the Warden School District cafeteria, 101 W. Beck Way.
People who have a mental or physical disability and are 19 or older can participate in the program if they are involved in a public or private non-profit school during the school year.
Snacks are served from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Food must be eaten on-site, Robertson noted.
