Lee was bom on Feb. 15, 1962, in Moses Lake, to Marcia (Coffin) and Jim Jardine. He passed away on Dec. 30, 2007, in Shelby, Mont.

Lee grew up in Moses Lake, attending grade and high school here. He was on the high school rodeo team, where he rode bulls and team roped, heeling was his favorite.

In 1985, he married Jodie (Sainsbury), together they had three children, Jared 25, Kara 20, and Ty, 19. During their marriage, they lived in Othello, Soap Lake, Bloomfield, Neb., and Deer Lodge, Mont. There he worked for Rock Creek Cattle Co., which was his one of his favorites. Lee and Jodie divorced in 1991. Several years later he remarried and had two more children.

Lee grew up around cattle and horses and learned a lot from his dad, including how to properly shoe a horse. His dad was his hero. Lee was a talented roper, cattleman and farrier. His last job in Montana was on the Garr Canyon Ranch near Dell, Mont. There he raised Scottish Highland cattle, and worked the hay operation.

Lee loved his dogs. His favorites were Queenie, Buster, J.D. and Lady. His favorite horse was Rowdy, a Doc Bar colt you could do anything on.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia, and both sets of grandparents. He leaves behind five children, his father Jim, two sisters, Marie and Vicki, one niece, two nephews and some special friends, you know who you are …

A memorial service for Lee will be held this Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Elks Lodge on Stratford Road in Moses Lake, Bob Garrett to officiate.
