Cal Ripken board meeting Saturday

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Cal Ripken Baseball organization has scheduled a meeting to elect its 2008 board members.

The meeting will be held at the Department of Labor and Industries office, 3001 W. Broadway in Moses Lake, on Saturday, Feb. 2, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Anyone interested in serving on the board must attend this meeting.

Player registration dates for the coming season have been set for Larson Recreation Center's batting cages. The dates are Feb. 16 from 12:30-3:30 p.m.; Feb. 20 from 5:30-7 p.m.; and March 1 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Registration costs $35 per player.

A parents and coaches meeting will take place on March 4 at the Labor and Industries office at 6:30 p.m. This is a mandatory meeting for all current coaches or prospective coaches.
