Grant EDC taking reservations for banquet

Ask.com director, CTED manager deliver keynote

GRANT COUNTY - The Grant County Economic Development Council is taking reservations for its annual banquet.

The event, taking place Feb. 20 at Big Bend Community College's ATEC Building, kicks off with a wine tasting and social hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner follows at 6:30 p.m.

Keynote speakers are Greg Fennewald, senior director of data center strategy for Ask. com, and George Sharp, education and outreach marketing manager for the state's Department of Community Trade and Economic Development.

Dinner will be a choice of aviator chicken or flat iron steak with garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, salad and dessert.

Cost is $35 per person if reserved before Feb. 10, $40 if reserved after that date.
