MOSES LAKE - Law enforcement captured two suspects who were allegedly involved in a residential burglary after a vehicle and foot pursuit Tuesday morning.

One unidentified suspect remains at large.

A Grant County Sheriff's Office deputy was en route to a domestic disturbance at approximately 1 a.m. when a subject was seen driving a vehicle recklessly and failing to yield, Moses Lake Police Chief Dean Mitchell said.

The deputy who was en route to a different call had his lights and sirens on and it appears the two subjects thought law enforcement was after them so they fled and the deputy followed, Grant County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy John Turley said.

Moses Lake Police assisted in the pursuit of the subjects at East Terrace Avenue where three people allegedly fled the pursued vehicle, Mitchell said.

Rodolfo Ramirez Jr., 22, Moses Lake, and Mahealani Campos-Graham, 20, Moses Lake, were arrested for Department of Corrections warrants and are currently in jail with no bail and remain on hold while the investigation continues, Turley said. He said appropriate charges against the two subjects concerning the residential burglary and theft incident are expected soon.

A third male suspect who fled the vehicle remains unidentified.

Apparently Ramirez and Campos-Graham were involved in a residential burglary on West Lakeshore Drive, Mitchell said. The Ford Expedition the two subjects attempted to flee in was stolen from the burglarized residence, he said.

Turley said law enforcement responded to the residence that matched the stolen vehicle registration and found an unsecured door. The residence was burglarized, he said.

A 2002 Ford F-150 reported stolen from the same residence was located later that morning behind Elements Inside & Out on West Broadway Avenue, Mitchell said.

Electronic equipment was reported stolen from the residence, Mitchell said. The West Lakeshore Drive property owner was out of the state at the time of the burglary, according to police.

Turley said the subjects will remain in custody until the property owner returns to Moses Lake and fingerprinting of evidence is completed. He said there may be charges applicable to Ramirez concerning him being an alleged gang member in possession of a firearm. Turley said Ramirez is a confirmed associate of a Norteno gang.

The sheriff's office impounded the Ford Expedition and reportedly recovered two pistols and drug paraphernalia inside, Mitchell said. The pistols do not appear to belong to the owner of the burglarized residence, he added. The drug paraphernalia reportedly included methamphetamine.
