SyKhara Rose Powell

SyKhara Rose Powell, 3, lifelong resident of Moses Lake, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at her home. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at the New Bride Baptist Church with Pastor Lovell Lavender officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

SyKhara was born Oct.6, 2004, in Moses Lake to Kristina Bentley and Damein Powell, Sr. Our beloved daughter has passed on to a place we all should be so lucky to go. SyKhara had a way of making you smile or laugh at times you thought were impossible. She was so very strong and always happy, her smile and laugh were contagious. SyKhara loved music and dancing, especially in the arms of her Grandpa. SyKhara Rose, Rose Toes, Baby Khara Rose, Rose Bud, Girly and G.G.'s girl, you will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her parents; Kristina Bentley, Moses Lake, Damein Powell, Sr., Moses Lake; one sister, Alayzsha Powell and one brother, Damein "Deezy" Powell, Jr., both of Moses Lake; two special cousins, LaBre'a and N'Shya, both of Germany; maternal grandparents, Mark and Kathie Bentley, Soap Lake; paternal grandparents, Deborah and Ray Landrum, Moses Lake; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Alicia Holman, Moses Lake; maternal great grandparents, Clayton and Durine Bentley and Ann Stump; paternal great-grandmother, Johnnie Mae Jackson, Moses Lake; paternal great-great grandmother, Marie Powell, Moses Lake; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

SyKhara was preceded in death by several family members, including a paternal great-grandfather, George "Al" Jackson and a maternal great-grandfather, Bill Stump.
