Drug arrests made in Quincy

QUINCY - Two brothers and two sisters appeared in Grant County Superior Court Thursday after authorities found drugs in the Quincy home three of the siblings were living in.

A search warrant was carried out at a three-bedroom home on H Street S.E. after a drug trafficking investigation was completed.

Justo Rubio, 30, Marcos Rubio, 20, Victoria Rubio, 18 (also known as Maria Victoria Rubio) and Evelyn Ramirez, 23, all of Quincy, were arrested at 3 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of drug possession with intent to deliver, according to the Grant County jail.

Their drug charges include possession of prescription drugs, Ecstasy, hashish, cocaine and marijuana.

The Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team seized more than $20,000 in cash and an undisclosed amount of drugs from the home, according to Quincy Police Chief William Gonzales.

Marcos Rubio was also arrested on suspicion of felon in possession of firearm.

Quincy Police and the Grant County Sheriff's Office assisted INET with the search warrant, Gonzales stated.
