NOTICE OF SEPA DETERMINATION
Notice is hereby given that a SEPA checklist received on January 28, 2008 from Taylor Orchards, LLC (Designated Contact: Max Gabbard Construction, 506 W. Chestnut St., Yakima, WA 98902, 509-457-5727), was found technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with Unified Development Code and other applicable state and local requirements as of February 19, 2008. PROJECT: Construction of a 45,164 sq. ft. controlled-atmosphere fruit storage facility on a 9.54-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. SEPA: MDNS issued February 20, 2008. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 22233 Rd. T.7 SW, Mattawa, WA, also known as Lot 3 of Port of Mattawa Plat #1, and located approximately 2 miles NW of Mattawa, WA, near the intersection of State Highway 243 and Rd. 22.1 SW, and in the NW quarter of S. 27, T. 15N, R. 23E, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #03-1303-000). ZONING: Agriculture. Office hours: 8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F. Comments must be submitted to Planning Department no later than 5 pm, March 12, 2008. Comments should be as specific as possible and mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
