Nancy Eloise Maygra

Nancy Eloise Maygra, 74, longtime resident of Yakima, passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, surrounded by close family after a long battle of cancer.

She is survived by her sister, Cora Shelly, Xenia, Ohio; her brothers, Herbert Stephens (Gladys) of Moses Lake, and Gerald Stephens (Darlene) of Livingston, Mont.; two nephews, Anthony Stephens (Tammy) and Fabian Stephens (Leah), Moses Lake; her friend and companion, Roy Brown (Cherokee) and numerous nephews and nieces.

Nancy was born on Feb. 12, 1933, in White Center, Wash., to Herbert W. Stephens Sr. and Delia P. Winnifred Goudie Stephens. In 1955, she married Rayome Maygra. They celebrated 44 years of marriage until his death in March of 1999. Nancy loved cats, horses, and Ann Rule novels. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Della Stephens; husband Rayome Maygra; and sister Camille Taro.

Memorial Services to be held at Kayser's Chapel of Memories.
