Witnesses sought in snowplow collision

Accident under investigation

OTHELLO - The Washington State Patrol is looking for more witnesses to a fatal Sunday crash near Reynolds Road in Othello.

The collision involved a Washington State Department of Transportation snowplow and a pedestrian. The pedestrian who died was Armando Barragan, 30, of Othello.

Barragan was reportedly walking on the shoulder of state Route 26 about midnight and was allegedly hit by a snowplow driven by Eleazar Garza, 47, of Othello.

Detectives are seeking more witnesses or information about events leading up to the crash.
