The Town of Mattawa has applied for a State Waste Discharge (SWD) permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-220 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and the Federal Clean Water Act.
The Town of Mattawa presently owns or operates a municipal wastewater treatment plant. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued.
The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent. Interested persons are invited to submit their name, address, and comments regarding this permit to:

Notice is hereby given that the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, who is the owner of the below-described property, has prepared a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) for the construction of an outdoor interpretive amphitheater with seating for up to 200 people for purposes of conducting interpretive and entertainment programs in the park at Sun Lakes - Dry Falls State Park.

Sun Lakes - Dry Falls State Park is located in Central Washington along State Route 17, approximately 4 miles west of Coulee City; Grant County, WA. The street address is 34875 Park Lake Rd NE, Coulee City, WA 99115. The proposal will be located within a developed day use area adjacent to Park Lake.
Lead Agency: Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission
The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
