Colleen Faye Sisich

| December 18, 2008 8:00 PM

Colleen Faye Sisich, 64, longtime Moses Lake resident, died in her sleep on Dec. 15, 2008, with her husband by her side.

Colleen was born on Feb. 1, 1944, to John Anthony and Faye Anna (Miller) Mullig in Lewiston, Idaho.

When Colleen was 11 years old, she contracted polio and lived a lifetime battling the effects of the disease. Colleen was married to John Sisich on Dec. 8, 1962. Over a span of five years, Colleen and John had four beautiful children whom are heartbroken from her departure. Colleen was a proud grandmother of eight grandchildren whom she took absolute delight in. Her family meant everything to her and she was completely happy if she was home and her family was safe.

Colleen leaves behind her husband of 47 years, John Sisich, her four children, Theodore (Stephanie) Sisich of Moses Lake, Tammy Sisich of Orting, Wash., Tina (Art) Wentworth and Todd Sisich of Moses Lake; her grandchildren John and Jerilyn Sisich, Derek and Kyle Smith, Michael Wentworth, Clarrisa and Louis Sisich; and one brother John (Joyce) Mullig, Yuma, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her precious grandson Christopher Anthony Wentworth, who died in 2002 – Colleen never recovered from this loss – and by her parents John and Faye Mullig, her sister Janine Sims and daughter-in-law Diana Sisich.

May the angels lead you into paradise. May the martyrs receive you at your coming. May the choirs of angels welcome you, and may you have rest everlasting. For those who have faith in you, Lord, life does not cease – it merely changes! And when our earthly dwelling falls to ruins, we find an eternal home in heaven.

We already miss our dear wife, our mother and our grandmother. We wait here knowing that someday we will all be together again. We love you!
